New York rapper Action Bronson has had a hugely lucrative last couple of years, and doesn’t appearing to be slowing down.
The lyricist behind hugely popular hip-hop hits “Strictly For My Jeeps” and “Actin Crazy,” recently posted a photo on his instagram featuring him posing with acting legend Robert De Niro and director Martin Scorsese, of all people.
Now, Billboard has confirmed that Bronson will indeed have a role in Scorsese’s upcoming crime drama The Irishman, which is based on the true story of mob hitman Frank “The Irishman” Sheeran. A biography of Sheeran titled “I Hear You Paint Houses,” which essentially means ‘you kill people,’ will serve as the foundation for the movie. The film, which was written by Scorsese, will reportedly be released on Netflix, and also features veteran crime actor Al Pacino alongside De Niro.

Unfortunately for Bronson fans, any details regarding the rapper’s role have not been released, so it remains unclear if he will play a major part or simply act in a supporting role; However, this is one of the first times Bronson will act as someone other than any version of himself, whether it be a rapper or food connoisseur.
Bronson has never been one to shy away from the camera. Largely increasing his following outside of his musical endeavors thanks to hosting Viceland’s food show F*ck That’s Delicious, Bronson also has a small upcoming role along the stars of Workaholics in their new show, GAME OVER, MAN!.
Film and TV producers young and old seemingly can’t get enough of Bronson, but at this point, why would anyone be complaining?
